After taking Best Drama at the “Exposures” film festival, winning the North West regional heat for the RTS Student Video Award, winning Best Non-factual at the RTS National heat made it three in a row for “Head in the Clouds”

The distinguished BBC producer had this to say about the student drama.

"This was an absorbing story well told. The strong performances, especially that of the young lead, were testimony to the patient and confident work of the director. …. also deserves praise for the painstaking and convincing recreation of 1960's Manchester"

“I’m over the moon,” said writer/director Steve Trimingham after the ceremony at the BAFTA building in the heart of London.

“My script, a few hundred pounds student loan and a lot of perseverance in directing this short film have really paid off.”
