Great Exposure for “Head
in the Clouds”

At this years Exposures short film festival at the Cornerhouse,
Manchester, Steve Trimingham’s “Head in the Clouds”
was entered in the drama category.
Set in 1961, the film tells the tale of John, a space
mad 10 year old who dreams of Yuri Gagarin the first man in space.
When he hears that his hero is due to visit his native Manchester
on a school day, he has to dodge, parents, teachers and grumpy bus
conductors to meet him.
After winning the Best Drama award at this festival,
this is what City Life’s film reporter had to say about the
film.
