'Fitting' award
22 January 2000
The Cornerhouse, Manchester - ‘The Fitting’,
directed by Andy Hill of Incident Productions, picks up Best Drama
award at this year’s Exposures film festival.
The silent short, a collaboration between Hill and
Cassandra Media’s Adrian Cox, features a thuggish Manchester
City fan visiting a tailor to be fitted for a new leather jacket.
The four year writing and production partnership between
Adrian Cox and Andy Hill has produced a succession of low/no budget
Manchester-based comedy shorts including ‘Bugger’ and
‘Let’s do lunch’.
Adrian said of his experience working on ‘The
Fitting’; ‘Developing a silent film gave valuable insights
into the fundamentals of writing cinematically.’ |
